I purchased the whole set of Package Mailbox, Paper Box and Post. They look great and are extremely well mad. I compared all the secure mailboxes available that would also handle small packages. I found one that looked pretty good and was considerably less expensive. However when I examined the construction it became clear to me that it was easily compromised with nothing more than a large screwdriver. It had a very flimsy locking door which was easy to pry open. The Mail Boss has a reinforced door and is heavier all around. Very well mad. The only problem I have so far is that the mailman isn't putting the mail in correctly. The instructions are right on the indie of the "in" door. "Envelopes in the slot and packages in the door tray" is what it says in two different places but he apparently has been in too much of a hurry to look at it. As soon as I catch him I'll get that corrected.

Purchased this box to work with the post from the same company. Assembled & fitted the post in various positions.

I like almost everything about this newspaper tube. It’s well made and I found it easy to install. The only issue I’ve had with it is that there are too few holes to permit rain water to drain, so I’ve had to uninstall it, drill some additional holes and enlarge the original ones. Hopefully that will resolve the problem.

I bought this as an add on to my new Mail Boss secure mailbox - something to hold newspapers. It is a nice combo. It is little tricky to attach as it needs to fit between the mailbox and the pole - and it is a bit heavy. I needed a helper to steady the holder while I threaded the bolts. It is a bit pricey too, but I am happy that I purchased it.

I bought the Mail Boss mailbox 9 years ago and when the paper tube finally fell apart I got this to replace it. The mailbox has stood up to the weather so well that I can't tell the difference between new and old, that's quality! Great material and great construction. Very easy to install and looks good from the street.

I rarely write reviews, but I bought 2 of these new paper boxes and i must say they are very well made and a quality product. Heavy duty and just better than expected. I cut off the side of each one and welded them together to make one large box for packages and the metal was nice and thick to weld together.

Not a fan, as my newspaper gets soaking wet every time it rains. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so that means pretty much every day for at least 6 months of the year. I've put caulk around the bolts, but it still leaks horribly. Unfortunately, because of the post and mailbox arrangement, I'm unable so far to attach another type of newspaper box. I love the Mail Boss mailbox, but this newspaper holder is a lemon.

This thing is built tough! Built of healthy gauge metal and extremely sturdy. Nothing like I expected. I like that it is roughly 4"' longer than my news paper which helps protect the paper from the rain. Suggestion: Install it on a downward angle toward the front. That will help moisture drain out the front instead of running under the paper itself. I placed 2 washers under the back two holes of the bracket to make it lean slightly forward.
