When cutting, consider applying the proper amount of pressure at a 90 degree angle to allow the cutting wheel to do the work. For best results, consider not pushing too hard on the wheel, which can cause the grinder to stall or kick back or give a less efficient cutting action, while also increasing the chances of slippage or loss of control of the tool, resulting in injury or damage. These are good metal cutting blades, I've used a bunch of them and have not broken any yet, they are thin (1/16) and cut fast.Would recommend

So these cut super fast, I mean really really fast. I used them initially to cut some hardened steel rods, which it did amazingly fast, the only trade off is that the disks got eaten up just as fast. They do last a little longer on mild steel, but still a little lacking when you're considering the $2/per wheel price point. I know that really it's just the nature of the beast when it comes to cut off wheels, they just simply aren't going to last you very long which is why I feel these wheels still deserve a 4 star review, simply due to their incredible speed in cutting, even hardened steel.

i thought using water on the blade my help it cut better by cooling the disc. It don't. The water dissolved the disc. Good thing its a 5 pack. Disc #2 did really well and fast on cutting the rebar off in the ground. Just don't get it wet. Cuts very fast.
