Used outside for fence posts repair. Was not super bright but it was bright enough that I could check all the posts along my side fence. I recommend it. Seems to be built and/or engineered with quality.

As a longtime carpenter in doing all custom built homes. I've had pls, dewalt and lica lasers. I bought this makita laser for my second crew as we have multiple large homes we are doing ceiling work and trim in. It has very powerful green laser the 12volt battery has plenty of life to last the day plus are much more reasonably priced. The case it came in had plenty of room for extra accessories and good solid storage. Absolutely happy with the price and quality of the tool.

Best laser i have ever used that wasn't a rotary or grading laser. Only gripe is the magnetic wall plate. that thing sucks unless you hang it on screw, however they laser is worth it's weight in gold. Being able to use the lock function while the lazer is on has come in handy too.

Love my new laser, it’s as good as its competitors, I’ve tried the dewalt and the Bosch and this one really has nothing to envy them. I’m a makita guy, so I’m really happy with the product. I’ve already used it several times for door jambs/trim, picture hanging and it just gives you the precision you need for these kind of jobs. Love it!

I've been using lasers for 15 years for doing tile and framing inside homes. This one is by far the best because of how the lasers are placed. you can set bottom plates without trying to place the laser in an awkward place. Doing tile now and it's never been so easy with the perfect square laser lines. The buttons are nice and simple. The base doesn't slide around and you can fine adjust with a knob. I can pick it up and move it and you can just feel how smooth everything in the inside is working. I was only using 1 or 2 lines and it stayed on for at least 8 hours. Had 3 people at the jobsite today saying how amazing it is.

Awesome laser! Love that it can be dimmed making it easier to see your pencil marks. Makes squaring rooms up a breeze too. Just wish the laser line wasn’t so thick
