First off, this shaft does not work on the smaller bit head. I bought this to see if that would work on my smaller malco I bought, but the part the head sits on is phisically bigger. Non-the-less my second reason I bought this was for speed, carrying two bits for four head sizes was a complete no brainer. This to me is equivalent to an 11-1 screwdriver, for your 1/4 impact. Magnet can be cleaned easily, and can act as a magnetic pickup tool in a very tight pinch, ask me how i know... strong metal as well. Being I work with zip screws more than I care for, this makes the job quicker in virtue of the doule sizes.

I use this in a professional setting. It works well for #10,12 & 14 hex head screws, with one caveat. The driver head falls off periodically. If this thing was $7, not too big a deal. At $20 a pop, that's a problem. It has fallen off a couple times doing over head work on a scissor lift. It took a minute but i was able to find it. However, I borrowed a colleagues, same scenario and wasn't able to find it. I had to buy him a new one. They should offer the replacement heads for $5 in my opinion. Removable parts should have replacement options, without having to replace the whole tool at full price.

As far as magnetic impact bits, these are the best. Of course after some serious abuse they may lose its magnet but worth every penny. Will forever buy these as an HVAC tech

Love these interchangeable sizes,only takes a few seconds to switch out sizes.Magnet is easily accessible to clean so head of screw fits snuggly into socket.

Very handy having both a 3/8 and 5/16 socket in one, saves me carrying 2 individual bits - BUT the magnet fell out on the first day of using it. Would be worth the price IF the magnet stayed in
