I have had NO problems with this brand EXCEPT on two filter housings that they leaked with. These fittings are limited in their insertion depth by the hex part, and the housing needed fittings to go deeper for the threads to all jam up water tight. The housing worked with plastic nipples, though, so I'd call that a filter housing problem .Pay attention that this is an adapter, and you can't compare a half inch inside measurement pipe thread with a 3/8 inch outside measurement tubing hole. Use a little teflon tape on the pipe threads.Also, if you use soft poly tubing (PVC/vinyl) with these and you get leaks, it's not the fittings' fault. Use pex or better.

Worked as expected. Several of the parts installed easily with three wraps of ptfe tape each and no leaks so far @ 40-60psi.

Like others said the taper isn't enough even with 7 wraps of Teflon tape still not tight enough to be comfortable with using luckily I had some o rings that fit perfect

I carefully used lots of Teflon tape to get the pipe thread to not leak. Then the push-lock section leaked on several.
