I needed to safely repair some windblown shingles on the steep part of my roof. The instructions were clear, the harness seemed secure, as did the attachment points on each end of the rope. Fortunately, I didn't test the system out by actually falling off the roof, but I did slip down the roof a few feet a couple of times and the system kept me from the edge. This was my first and only experience of working in a safety harness, so I can't compare it to other brands or systems, but for me it worked. It is nice that it comes in a plastic bucket and everything can go back in for storage.

I had little to no hope that this system would fit my small 5' 115lb. frame. But it did! It adjusts all the way down and fits great. I have a ledge around my house, made to wash windows. But as I've gotten older and not as sure-footed, I've thought about a safety system in case of a fall. This one fits the bill perfectly. The harness fits, there is enough rope to tie off with, and if you don't have a good anchor point, they give you one for either a pitched or a flat roof. And it may be gimmicky, but I like that it all fits in the one bucket. That way, everything is together in one place and nothing goes missing.

This set has everything you need for roofer safety. It's nicely packaged, and has literally everything to be compliant with jobsite regulations or just general safety precautions. I work where this kind of thing is sold, but they don't have the whole kit together. You have to piece it from parts.
