I think I need to get a proper bow tie that I tie myself to look right with my antique white tie ensemble. But this worked okay in a pinch. I'd say it would work better with a modern tux except then you'd want black tie so - it's kind of neither here nor there. It might work for "creative black tie" but it's not even black so - okay it's fine for a kids costume but grown ups should get a real bow tie.

Simple, black with some texture. Looked great for a wedding outfit. Stayed clipped all day and will wear it again.
