I stretched an 8' piece to 11" repeatedly and each time it still returned to 8" each time. Totally clear, not cloudy. Not a true "elastic" but the best I've found and it'll do the job I use it for. I think it were thinner it'd stretch more but then it probably wouldn't have the ability to return properly which is more important to me.

It's too complicated to explain what I'm using this for, but needless to say I needed about 100+ yards to fix 200 uniforms within three days! Ordered three different brands, by three different sellers to make sure that I got them in two days (live 40 miles outside a Metro Area). They all arrived the same day, so I had three different rolls of 33 to 38 yards each. Each one had a slightly different texture, from glossy to matte. This one is more glossy, but has an ever so slight grip to it. Since every body is different, if one style didn't work, I opted for the other style (texture) and this saved the Marching Band! Has enough grip and durability to not rip off when stretched and worn. After we sewed a few, and knew they wouldn't tear away, we knew this would work for all band members, they just needed to be individually fitted custom. The band looks great and they won the Grand Championship, so I guess this was a win for the Clear Elastic too!

This clear elastic is good, but not that soft and stretchy as supposed to be. I think it better to put into the hot water before to make it softer. I use it for my dress at the shoulder seam and it holds perfectly.

LOVE! Exactly what I’ve been looking for and needing! By far the best option for “invisible†straps… very durable and strong but also very luxurious and delicate at the same time and is truly clear with a lovely finish. Highly recommend!

I was expecting a thinner more flexible elastic. This is stiffer than I wanted

I use this in various craft projects - but also use for the trim when wrapping presents Makes perfect bows!

This is a non-elastic cloudy strap of uneven thickness totally unsuitable for sewing lingerie or any other fabric. Yes, it has some stretch, but in no way should it be advertised as an elastic suitable for sewing.

Elastic is just right for lots of different types of craft projects. Stretches well, easy to sew down and clear so great to use where regular elastic isn’t.

Use all around the house - tie into custom elastic bands of any diameter to bundle whatever you want.Very strong too! I wish it was available in a wider size!
