I have a crimper, which works better, but also used some vise-grips in a pinch, so to speak, and made it work. Don't try this at home: to test it, I hooked a loop made with one of these to a 40lb anchor and dropped it about 10 ft from a tree branch. It held! They arrived quickly, too.

Ferrules work fine. The key is finding a wire cutting tool that doesn’t fray the wire so that it slides into the ferrules before crimping. Maybe they could recommend some that work well with their product.

I ordered these and the description says 200 in quantity. This is not true unless you are counting each hole in each aluminum barrel. If a customer is expecting to receive 200 of these, then that is what it is supposed to be. 200 or whatever amount that the customer has ordered. Attached is a photo of how many I received. You do the math.
