At first I didn’t think I would like welt cord. I found the cord easy to work with and the piping looks great. My project turned out well.

I am using this cord to make piping for a decorative pillow. If you are doing something similar, be careful to keep it from twisting while sewing it into the casing. I would advise catching a couple of stitches every few inches to keep it from twisting and becoming lumpy. Other than that the quality of the fabric is fine.

I used this cord to make piping on cushions for outdoor seating. Very easy to manipulate, not too stiff to make neat curves and corners with the piping.

This very soft piping might work on clothing, but is too flat & soft for upholstery.
