Feet are perfect for the application I bought them for. However, they are slightly large on the 190mf4, and don’t fit - but this could have been my error, assuming 190x would also fit the carbon fiber model.Used 3/8†rubber tubing cut to the depth of the foot attachment, slid on to the tripod legs, then attached the feet and it is flawless. Tight fit, very stable.

Can't do without them.I spend most of my photo time standing in streams or setting up on rock formations so the extra contact area of the tapered rubber rings is so helpful to get a sure footprint with the tripod. The little plastic 'cups' that come standard on the carbon fiber tripods are guaranteed to slip on every surface! The spikes are great if you are trying to grab onto some little nook or cranny in a rock face but will not help much on soft ground with such a light tripod. Just not enough weight from the CF tripod to get it digging in. I do not understand why a very pricy carbon fiber tripod meant for use in the great outdoors does not have these installed as standard equipment but I guess because everyone who has had their setup almost end up in the drink (like me several times) will buy them for every tripod they own. BTW, I scored and got these from the Amazon "warehouse deals". Because the bag had a hole in it the set was almost 75% off!! They were brand new and perfect. Such a deal but I would have paid full price easily for them. The alternative is potentially pricy as your gear topples over.

These are a good quality addition to my Manfrotto tripod. They are easy to install, add flexibility to the tripod and provide better utility over a variety of terrains. My only comment is that Manfrotto should have included these on the tripod as standard equipment especially considering the price of the tripod.

These DO NOT fit or work on the Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 Pro Carbon Fiber Tripod. They are too large and will not tighten so they fit. I'm returning them to Amazon.

fits perfectly, pretty snug without tightening even, but do tighten of course. The included wrench (Philiips) has a nice T handle but is a little too big for the bolt pattern. You're better off getting a screwdriver from your garage tool box

Purchased this set long after I purchased my 190XPROB. Installed them on legs and what a difference. Should have purchased these long time ago. Also I think Manfrotto tripods should all come with these spikes...Highly recommended!

Should have been on the tripod in the first place. Easy to install.

Installs easily with the provided screwdriver. Hard rubber feet can be positioned anywhere along the threaded stainless steel (non-magnetic) spike. The last few threads of the spike are dented to prevent the feet from falling off. Does raise the height of the tripod a few inches, but it's an excellent upgrade to my tripod. Don't put this down on floors without putting down the rubber feet. It is machined to a sharp point and will likely cause damage.

J'ai monté ces pattes sur mon trépied Manfrotto mt055cxpro4 055 en fibre de carbone. Ça m'a pris 5 minutes. Le tournevis vient avec les pattes, et le tout est solide et de qualité.
