I often need 4 sheets of music up at a time. These add to a standard Manhasset music stand. They slide on and slide out make the stand 2x a big but slide in for easy transport. I use them with a Manhasset Voyager portable stand.

You need this if you got long sheet music! It is sturdy, doesn’t weight too much for the stand and easy to take on and off. Great accessory

These slip right on to my Manhasset stand and are very sturdy. I only needed one since they both won't fit with my pencil holder installed. I can see three sheets of music at once with this.

There is a lip on the back side of the slide-on's, so they wont slide onto the M50 model. I do wish they would have said that. I would be possible to grind/cut off the lip with a dremel tool. Although heavy duty plastic it would reduce its holding strength a little. So, if you want extenders without troubles, maybe get the M48 model.

These shelf extenders slip onto a standard Manhasset desk – either the permanent one or the Voyager – easily. They fit snugly, and slide well so that I can get up to four sheets of music to stand side-by-side. This is great if I'm playing from score instead of parts, because it means no page turns or pulling of pages. The black color of the plastic matches the black color of the aluminum stand's paint, so from the audience's view everything looks very professional. They are not designed to fit on the Manhasset orchestral stand – the one with the built-in shelf, because the shelf of the extenders wraps under and to the back of the standard desk. But – with a little effort and a table saw – they can be made to fit the orchestral stand. You'll have to saw off the part of each extender that wraps around the back of the desk so that each extender grabs the top of the desk and slides onto the existing shelf. It won't be quite as steady as it's designed to be, but still works quite well, and gives your orchestral stand much more room to spread out music if you need to. That's what I've done with mine and it works great.

If you have a Manhasset Music stand and use any 4+ page charts, save yourself the headache and get these. They work very well.

I was misled by the item's "Frequently bought together" section to think that I can use this shelf extenders for Manhasset 50 Orchestral Music Stand(with bow drawer). The fact is, it can only be used for Manhasset 4801 M48 model. Those models that are without the bow drawer.
