I recently purchased this coffee grinder, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance. It competes well with more expensive brands in terms of functionality.Cons:Lack of detailed instructions: One minor drawback is the absence of detailed instructions. I wish it provided guidance on how many turns of the knob are needed to achieve different grind sizes. Some users, especially beginners, might find this information helpful.Loose top/cap: Another small issue I encountered was that the top/cap of the grinder was a bit loose. Very smooth operation. The adjustment is easy to use and provides a consistent grind quality. I've included a video guide on how to choose a coarseness setting. Its quite easy once you figure out where you like your coffee.

Needed a good travel solution for grinding coffee on our 3week vacation. We’ve taken this grinder with us now on a trip all over Croatia, Italy and on a trip to Mexico. It’s worked great love how small and compact and how efficient it is.

Good quality, works well. Only drawback would be if using you are using this for an Espresso grind (very fine, setting 10)...you are in for a workout. I lost count after 100 cranks of the handle and my beans were still not completely ground. Doesn't require a lot of effort but, I went for electric after this purchase.

This is my first manual coffee grinder. I typically drink about 16 oz a day and use about 40 grams of beans for my french press. I do have to grind in 2 batches to do enough but it doesn't take very long and is not strenuous (I wasn't sure what to expect). The grinder feels well made and the grains seem consistently sized. I don't find it it difficult to adjust the grind size. It's pretty easy to clean, I tap the top of it after grinding and use the included brush to clean it out. I wanted to order a different grinder at first, which was reviewed by a very well known "coffee weirdo" but it was taking too long to ship and arrive thus, I opted to cancel that order and get this one instead, I do not regret that decision. If I ever upgrade to an electric burr grinder, I will use this one for travel.I don't often give 5 star reviews, if I run into any issues, I will update my review.

I have to admit... this item is of much higher quality than I had expected. Please understand that I am NOT grinding coffee with it. I'm using it to grind my "sleeping aid", to put into capsules, and it works far better than I thought it would. So far, best grinder I've ever owned.

I bought this to have the ability to make a consistent coarse grind for cold brew/French press use (after finding that blade grinders make too wide a range of sizes).The quality of build is very evident: solid, smooth, with excellent fit and finish. Operation is smooth and efficient. The fineness of grind is trial and error (choose a setting, grind a few beans, then observe and adjust accordingly), but once you have arrived at the grind setting you like, the grinder stays there (and has for 3-4 weeks of daily grinding so far).Highly recommended -- I expect to enjoy using this for many years.

This is a fine quality crafted instrument that will grind your beans to your taste's satisfaction. I used it for espresso and it goes even finer for Turkish coffee if you should so desire.It's fun to operate, quite fast and efficient, not demanding on hand strength and easy on arthritic hands.It will last you a lifetime.
