It is a gift for my son for his Birthday, he plays several different instruments, and is very artistic. I imagine he will create all kinds of creative pieces, and adore it as a journal and a sketchbook. So I got 2. It has a bigger spiral, and a thicker hardcover.

High quality music notebook. The staff is a bit on the smaller side which makes it harder for my younger students to write notes in. But each page is perforated and detaches cleanly.

Happy wife! My spouse is a music teacher for our local church. She wanted a composition notebook to write music, I sowed this to her, ordered it and here we are. 1) the cover is thick cardstock. 2) The inner pages are solid 3) the staff is on the smaller side, but she said she can make it work, 4) the paper can be neatly torn and stored on the rear cover which has an orange sleeve 5) the last page is also made as thick/durable as the first. 6) It's a quality made personal music log book and in IMHO i think its worth the cost. My spouse is content with it and I hope it suits her needs. I gave it 4 stars but if anything changes I will update accordingly. Hope this helps...
