I used this converter while on a trip to Italy. The plug fit the wall socket well. I used the two USB-A ports and one USB-C port simultaneously to charge two phones and a tablet. Charging was fast and complete. This converter was definitely an asset for my travel.Bottom Line from the Bibliophile: Highly Recommended

I've been on enough cruise ships to realize they are extremely stingy when it comes to power outlets. On a recent cruise, our room had exactly two normally accessible outlets. One at a desk area well away from the bed and another in the bathroom. The issue is that I need a CPAP every night and neither of these locations were close enough to the bed to provide power to the CPAP. Fortunately I brought this very handy converter.In addition to the very limited 110V US outlets, the cruise ships I've been on also have a hand full of 220V British style outlets. Prior to this cruise, they were useless to me but I had picked up this converter in the mean time and realizing there were lamps right next to the bed, I tracked down their source and found they were plugged into one of the British style outlets. I pulled this handy little device out, swapped the lamp plug for this one and had enough length in the cord of this device to have it sit proudly on the night sand near the lamp. I then plugged in my CPAP, assured of the proper 110V output of the converter. I also plugged my phone into the supplied USB C of this device and slept quite soundly with both plugged in.These converters come in handy in so many places when you are traveling. For my recent cruise cabin, I had access to 2 220V outlets near the bed and two more between the bathroom and desk. I only had one converter at the time and it served my purpose but I have since acquired a second, along with some country adapters for a planned trip to Europe next year. I highly recommend this device, along with adapters for cruises or foreign travel.Most countries outside of the US use 220V and while some devices can handle that, others cannot since we standardize on 110V in the US. I would suggest to always use a converter like this to adapt the voltage, as well as an country adapter to adjust the pins for different countries since this device only supports the British power standard.

220 to 110 Voltage Converter US to Europe by MapamboI’m planning a trip to Africa and realized that I need a 220 to 110 voltage converter, so I chose this 220 to 110 Voltage Converter US to Europe by Mapambo for several reasons. One of the main things that I like about this converter is the fact that is only weighs about 8.5 ounces, where my old converter weighs over 1lb.I also like that this 220 to 110 Voltage Converter US to Europe by Mapambo has two standard US outlet plugs and 3 USB C outlets and 1 USB A outlet. Some other converters have only 1 or 2 USB C.The unit comes with a soft, draw string bag to keep everything together, which is nice. The unit also measures about 4.5 inches and 2.75 inches x 1.25 inches tall, so it is nice and compact, much smaller than my old 220 to 110 converter.Between the light weight and the multiple power outlets make this 220 to 110 Voltage Converter US to Europe by Mapambo a very handy power converter for travel. Note, since I am in the USA and my trip isn't for another 3 months, I have not had the opprotunity to use this item over seas.

This is a great and flexible adapter for various countries, that also does voltage conversion. The big thing about this one though, is it's powerful enough to handle things like hair dryers that would blow out lesser products. Of course it's beyond that really nice because of the extra USB ports for charging phones, and whatever else is needed. The build quality feels fairly solid, but not premium, but good enough. It's also a bit large, so while it's a travel adapter you do need to end up making some room for it. Other than that, it's quite excellent and I would recommend it.

There are so many travel adapters on Amazon that figuring out which one to buy can be daunting. I chose this one for several reasons:1) It can handle up to 300W while many of the smaller ones top out at 200W or 250W. The more it can handle, the less risk you have of frying the adapter and the electronics connected to it.2) It has three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. I use all Apple products and at this point all of my products charge via USB-C so having three ports really comes in handy.3) Most travel adapters plug directly into the wall. This one comes with a traditional power cord. I’ve found that many hotels have their outlets in awkward locations, particularly low to the ground. So I end up charging all of my devices on the floor. With a power cord you can plug the unit in to the wall and keep the adapter on your night stand, which makes it so much more convenient to access the ports and outlets.4) This unit comes with two US three pronged outlets. If I’m traveling with my spouse we typically each need to plug at least one appliance in so this allows me to carry one travel adapters for both of us.The unit is well constructed and comes with a nice carrying case.
