I am impressed with the quality of this set of weightlifting bars. They should last a lifetime if proper care is applied. The price I received for the set here on Amazon was a good deal considering the cost is about the same as if buying the arm curl bar alone from other manufacturers. I don't think you can wrong with these.

So the curl bar arrived today and it had a weird smell. Even after wiping it down with Clorox wipes, a nice smelling kitchen spray and another antibaterial spray the smell is still lingering. Also the bar is hollow which surprised me since I don't believe it was in the product description. All in all it was good value for money. I only have 2 x 10lb weight plates on there. I don't know how much weight it can really take but since it is hollow, i don't want to take a chance on the bar falling apart mid work out and smashing my foot.Edit: it has been a few days and I've totally changed my mind. It is a great deal if you get it. I have found it is quite sturdy but I plan to use no more than 60 lbs on it since it use it for upper body only. I'm barely at 36 lbs now. Also if you make a slurry with baking powder and vinegar, rub it on the metal bar and the 2 handles and then wash with dish soap the smell is gone! Since it is hollow I may try to put sand into the handles as additional weight and to make it more sturdy but making sure it will not go above the 100 lb max. Also I don't have enough plates to use the dumbbell handles but I'm sure I will add to my home gym at some time. I have other weights I can use anyway.

Not very high quality. I was expecting the sides of the ez bar and dumbells to be able to spin with the weight which they don't. This causes any movements to deal very unnatural. They still work fine but whenever I'm doing anything like skull crushers or curls they simply just feel very unnatural which takes away from the exercise. I bought them used and I don't know what happened but I am missing four of the clips for the sides. This means I only have enough clips for one of the dumbells which takes away the whole point. I'm lucky I already had some clips at home or else I would have only been able to use one at a time. But that was more with shipping than quality. However, despite all these problems, I would actually say these aren't that bad for their very low price. By getting them used I only paid $40 for all of it which is why this isn't 2 or 3 stars. Also, this isn't exactly a good or bad the bars themselves are very very light. Like under 10lbs which I wasn't expecting.

Personally I am VERY happy with this. I don't care that it's hollow, my old set was hollow too. I needed something that didn't require clamps that prevented the weights from crushing my hands (my dads old school set from the 80'). This is a much welcome upgrade. My hands have more space and it will make my workouts quicker.One thing I noticed is that it makes my hands smell really funny. Not sure if that's just cause it's new but hopefully not permanent.

This is a decent product. It comes with clips to hold onto your weights to put on the bar. You do need heavy weights to put on the bar as the bar is super lightweight and Howell inside. It is not a full metal bar and is not very heavy. That would be my only downfall with this product is that I was hoping to use my 10 pound plates that I already had purchased to put on the bar itself to have a bar to use however, being that the bar is so lightweight and howl inside it makes it a challenge for this and I will probably need to purchase heavier plates to go on the bar itself overall it does to point what I want it could be a lot better for the price I paid for it I guess it’s worth the money for a home gym my fiancé likes the product a lot

I’ve had these for a while now. I have 50lbs on the dumbbells and 150lbs on the other bar. So far so good, although I do want to load them up a bit more, I’m not sure if they’ll be able to handle more weight. I want to put 60+ on the db handles, and a little over 200lb on the other bar. Would it handle that weight?

I'm not a body builder but I work out in my own home, I inherited a bench press set from someone but it didn't have any curl bars so I got this on Amazon. For anyone who is looking for similar items do remember to check the size of the weights, this is NOT the big Olympic size bars.I wasn't looking for something that's top of the line and trying to become a work out guru or anything so this was perfect for me, all for a price of $20 can't beat this deal. The bars themselves are fairly well made, good metal but they are hollow, then again like I said I'm not a body builder or anything so it's good enough for me. The stopper clips are very small but seems to clamp onto the bars tight, though I wouldn't hold the bar vertical doing curls as they might slip out.Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase, would definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a cheap but quality set bars.
