Just take the front out and put 2 towels instead, much softer. Great, sturdy bench for sit-ups!

I bought this and assembled it in 20 minutes (make sure you have a wrench, it's not included in the box). Wasn't hard at all. Thankfully all the pieces were there and everything held together solidly. I did some decline sit-ups on it. Being 245 lbs, there is a slight wobble if you are doing full-range sit-ups but nothing awful. Now the leg padding is not cushiony enough; it does hurt your calf muscles after a while but ideally, you're not going to lie down on the thing for excessively long periods. Overall, it's a good piece of equipment.

It works, relatively sturdy, not as good as a Pro gym one. It gets the job done but the one at the gym goes steeper and is more comfortable. It's all there, easy to assemble, and has been great for my home workout. Great price too.

Good work out bench. Solid for home workouts. Marcy makes good products. I sought them out because I have their recumbent bike and it was a wise choice. The sit up bench is excellent.

What can I say, it's a sit-up board. Assembly was straightforward and easy, all hardware pieces were in the box. Proportions are good (for my height, 5' 8"), and it is comfortable to use.

The upper pad is too rough and dense and hurts my legs a lot. Wish it were softer.

I am very happy with my new Marcy Utility Slant Board w/ Headrest. The package arrived in good condition, although it was the actual board package that it was shipped in. No exterior packaging. All parts were included. It was very quick and easy to put together. Everything fit as it should. I am a 5'5" 115lb woman and my son is 5'10" 145 lbs and we are able to use it easily on the same adjustment levels for leg height and steepness. My son's head almost reaches the end of the board (not the foam roller part), so definitely more room for a taller person. I find the padding on the board comfortable and the foam rollers have a nice amount of give so they aren't too stiff on my legs. The board doesn't slant as much as I am used to with the gym decline ab bench, but it is still more than adequate to get a good workout. The board is stable for both my son and I. And it works well for decline dumbell chest presses as well. I already had one rubber covering over the end of the base legs come off from moving the bench. I think others commented on this too. I will resolve this problem easily by gluing them on. I haven't folded the bench as I have the room to keep it out. I would buy this again.

Hello i was a bit skeptical about this item due to my weight being 217 lb. After reading reviews i heard the weight limit could take up to 250 i hope to never get to that weight for my height. So i figured it would be a good idea to get one and give it a shot. To my surprise despite looking at the illustration full of numbers, The actual installation and set up was fairly straight forward and simple! It took me about 15 minutes to assemble the bench. It is really light I was surprised once its folded its no problem to move. IT also folds fairly flat the only thing that sticks out is the leg holder. Great item for the price as well as amazing quality in crafstman ship. Does not feel cheap what so ever despite the relatively low cost!

Great bench. I weigh 155 and I don’t think it would be a great buy for anyone that weighs much more than that.
