In over 10,000 real dives monitored by Dr. Bruce Wienke in the Los Alamos laboratories, the formation of micro-bubbles has been studied and evaluated to better understand the mechanism behind how micro-bubbles are formed during a dive. Today it is the most evolved algorithm for reducing the formation of micro-bubbles without compromising dive times.

I've used this for several dives now, and I have to say that I'm very glad I made this purchase. The unit is attractive, sturdy, reliable, and easy to set up and use. It's very accurate, as verified by other dive computers, and it makes accessing key dive info easy. The manual is straightforward and easy to understand. The Planning Mode is great for working out "what if" dive scenarios, and the Dive Log feature records all of your important dive data for later recall and review. I also purchased the data link cable so I could download the dive log to my laptop, which I recommend. I have only one criticism, and it is this: the backlight is not bright enough for my tastes. I carry a light on every dive, so it's not a deal breaker, but a brighter light would certainly be welcome. Otherwise this is a solid dive computer choice, and I can highly recommend it as a first dive computer purchase, or a backup unit.

Used for 4 dives. Works great. Hig disabled and easy to read numbers. Records all the important info. Temp, depth, bottom time, no deco limits, safety stops etc.
