I wanted to protect my hands while riding in the harsh Florida sun.My mother had gotten melanoma on her left thumb from driving and it made me think, my hands, especially my thumbs are exposed as I ride my horse. My husband bought them as a Christmas gift for me and I love them. They fit perfect and I do not even feel like I’m wearing gloves.I keep them in the tack room with my helmet so I never lose them.
