Does not fit over “normal†connectors. Doesn’t stretch over the connector. Plastic is too stiff even when warmed up To stretch over the connector body. I have put several of these on and this brand just doesn’t fit. (Another “new†part to the junk bin)I do not recommend this inferior, low grade plastic boot cover. This product Really needs a zero star rating. Doesn’t meet it basic design intention.

When heated with a heat gun, it very quickly becomes stretchy material, so be careful when prepping it for a cable passthrough. Works great.

These boots are not weather resistant when used with the matching plastic collar to join a male and female connector in what should be a weatherproof connection. In Florida, rain always works its way inside and will short the connection resulting in burnt/melted plugs. I now make a hole in the back of the boot and position it so water can drain out. That modification prevents the trapping of water and subsequent shorting of the connection. It absolutely will not keep out rain in tropical storm conditions.
