Markal Silver-Streak holder is an all-purpose marker for cold surfaces that will mark any material surface or texture. Use under any conditions such as oily, rough, smooth, wet, dry, icy, or rusty surfaces. These refills can be used for layout work on sheet metal, pipe layout, and plasma cutting. You can mark thin lines for accurate measurements and mark lines won't burn off when using a plasma or acetylene torch. The Markal Silver Streak holder with refills performs better than chalk or soapstone. The six refills come in a nice protective case to protect them from breaking.

I got this refill for the welding pencil as it ran out. This is much better than the old soap stone and easier to see than a sharpie. I saw these first on ChuckE2009 channel on YouTube which is a great channel if you are into welding, fabrication and old not running tractors.

If you only want one color and you need to mark clean metal get another color. Great otherwise.

This stuff is awesome. Wish the pen for it was sturdier. Bought the pro version. Can not switch. It is version specific. And this lead writes better then the pro. I'm a pipe fitter welder and use everyday. Still see the line when torching. Writes on anything.

Love the product, i literally use it everyday at work because it blows soapstone out of the water. My issue however is getting it delivered in a working order. When i ordered the silver streak mechanical pencil i had to get it replaced because it had at some point been bent in half then straightened back out. Now i just received my first order of refills for it and clearly someone has anger issues, it is the only explanation for how mangled the product is.

Great for metalworking. These aren't the same size as the trades marke, so only fit the plastic blue marker.

These are the refills for the welders pencil. They work exactly as described and I find them a great help in the shop. These refills are hard to find locally for me.

He usado de todo: punzones de marcado, rotuladores, lápices de color, esteatita.... es una de estas cosas que te preguntas porqué narices no la habÃas descubierto antes. Marca sobre superficies de acero con los tÃpicos aceites protectores. No se borra, perfecta visualización incluso con la máscara de soldar. Caro a priori pero lo mejor que he usado hasta la fecha.
