Flags are well attached to the very sturdy metal spikes or posts. Easy to push into hard ground. Hopefully slow to oxidize.

I was looking for more of a highlighter color so that it could be easily seen in the dark. The purple is darker than pictured. Good quality.

As advertised, this bundle of 100 flags have a 15 inch staff and a 4x5 inch white inch flag.Being short makes them sturdy and less likely to get knocked over, and the large, white flag makes them very visible.Note that white flags are often used for marking hazards or areas to be excavated.I am using mine to mark where I am planting seeds in the spring. I am classifying that as "excavation".

I'm so glad to toss the rat's nest of marking flags that I'd been using for years that were bent, rusted, and carried a torn flag with an advertisement for the landscapers or the big box store.At about a dime apiece, I've now got a great supply of new flags that are straight, pointy, and 19 gauge which will be easier to stick into the ground and, at least for a while, won't be bent and rusty.If I had my druthers, I'd like them to be a little bit more fluorescent, and it would be great if a package with multiple colors was offered. But those are tiny nitpicks and these flags are absolutely as described, so five stars.

These arrived packaged securely, well-bound with heavy rubber bands, rolled all together -- easy to remove top rubber band and pull out only a few, then rebind for easier storage.The yellow flag part is larger than ones I've had before, a bonus (I often use these to flag newly planted shrubs, trees, seeds, etc., too, so like having the space to easily label).Very pleased and eager for spring.

The flags were exactly what I wanted. It was a good thing I didn’t need the 100 promised because there were only 86 in the bundle.
