My 12 year old received this for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. It gives off enough light to read at night time and she can tile herself which is good for summer reading program time and is a book mark all in one. It’s small enough to fit in a book and in her bedside caddy and good value for your money.

When I received this item, the timer wouldn't work. I called the customer service number and got their voicemail. I left a message and asked for a return call. They never called me back. I went to their website and followed the troubleshooting steps. It still didn't work. Finally I bought a new battery and it worked. With that kind of customer service, I would never recommend purchasing anything from this company.

I bought these as a gift for my kids. I've been wanting them to read at least 30 mins before bed to calm their minds down. The light is bright, but not blinding. Easy Set Up. The bookmark has a timer on it as well, which helps your little ones to know when they are done. It's helped a lot to keep them into their night routine.

Ordered two (different designs) one for each young grandson as each must read at least 30 minutes each day..would have been great if they had worked. I love the concept of the product.

I bought this for my seven-year-old son who loves to read in bed at night. With this booklight, we're able to send him to bed with the instruction to stop reading after ten minutes. He's able to get in his reading and turn out the light when the timer is finished.A neat feature I wasn't aware of when I bought this is a "count up" timer function. He can start the timer in this mode when he starts reading, stop it when he's done, and then start it again the next time he picks up his book. He's able to track his total time reading with this function.We got the design with the rainbow poops - a wonderful choice for my son who thinks poop is pretty dang funny.

Don’t bother! I bought this as a Christmas present for my nine year old daughter. R used it nice and it worked fine even if a bit confusing at first for the set up. However on the second use the display was no longer working properly. The last digit is only showing partially. Also the countdown no longer worked. So disappointing as this was a Santa present and it’s hard to explain that to a child.
