Great for polishing steel. I used mine to polish up some old knives. They last a long time and seem to last longer than sandpaper. Also like that you can use it easily in wet applications and the “grit†doesn’t easily get gummed up. Not exactly the cheapest when compared to sandpaper, but overall, I’m pretty happy! 4 stars.

for all appearances and use , these seem to be the same as 3M. I've used them to clean up some aluminum for welding and they performed just like the 3M ones I am used to.

Scuff pads in general are pricey for what they are but these are as good of quality as 3m but at a lower price point. I use scuff Pads alot in my business of custom automotive painting and found this brand to be very durable, easily re usable, and economical. Will definitely be purchasing again.
