Worked and easy to install in my 2012 Escape. Now I can adjust the fan speed (1-3) instead of only working on 4/MAX. Very helpful.

2012 F150 XLT the blower stopped working 1-3 and only on 4. Googled the issue and this blower resistor came up, ordered it and installed 2 days later and blower works like new. The pic is of old part that was removed. Fixed my problem would recommend for what i needed.

Ordered this Blower Motor Resistor 973-444 - for Ford F150 Trucks - Expedition and other Ford Brands -for my 2006 F-150 XL. My truck has the manual blower unit. In recent months, my blower switch started acting crazy. It would blow on high, but not low. Also when on high, not much cold air until it was back on low. After taking the control module out and checking all the connecting plugs, all seemed OK.Later got my neighbor mechanic friend to look at it and check it out. He advised the blower resistor was either bad, or going bad. While recently shopping online looking for some tune up parts for my truck,I saw this resistor unit and after reading about it and matching my OEM numbers, I ordered it.This resistor solved my blower & AC problems. I was actually worried of how troublesome it would be to install, but it's pretty much "plug & play" as it just plugs in to place. Removed the old one and replaced it with the new one. Very happy with this unit. I like that it fit my truck and works great.Happy with order
