My header line really says it all for the most part. I should say for certain types of oil painting. And that depends on your style, but the product itself is top notch.

As an artist, I can always appreciate different techniques. Not really into the Wet on Wet that Bob Ross promotes, but sometimes you need a sky with friendly little clouds!I suggest you buy or mix up your own Magic White for certain occasions, and get this brush!

I think you are paying for the name " Bob Ross" the brush is expensive but I like using it for a certain style of painting

I love, love, love this brush. This brush makes putting in nice backgrounds a breeze, and the 2 inches works well with larger canvas's. I am painting with acrylics and I use this brush for blending. It works great for clouds, water, sky's, blurry backgrounds, and pretty much anything else that needs a little smoothing out. The handle feels very premium. Not sure what it is made of, but it is heavy in the hand and is of defiant good quality. Also it rinses clean and once dry, is ready to blend again. I would recommend this brush to everybody who paints.I have included a picture of a quick background pattern using the 2-inch background blender brush. I used a round brush to scrub in paint where I wanted it then blended it out with the background brush. I used a small misting bottle to wet it Then I bend again with the background brush for a nice blurry effect. A little tip, only use the spray bottle for one or two layers and let dry in between. If you continue to use it the water droplets will start lifting the paint back off of the canvas, even if those layers are dry.Hope this helps, Happy Painting :)

Great brush for, you guessed it, Landscape paintings. This brush is quite essential for the wet on wet Bob Ross style. I have yet to find a better brush for the landscape paintings. Do not cheap out on your brushes. These are really good quality (hairs are boar, and they don't fall out). A crappy brush will make your paintings crappy. You want your paintings to be happy. I have 2 of these to minimize brush washing, which is great.
