The day when this came in thru the mail, I was excited Opened up the package & then I saw something in there shining thru. Was impressed. But not for long. A string winder always should be protected with rubber where the string winder goes in to the tuning posts.

This is a great tool and on par with the Martin brand. The tuning machine handles fit perfectly into the receiver slot, which is made of a soft rubber so it won’t damage the finish.Note in the picture how there’s about a 1cm gap between the tool and the headstock. This ensures the tool will not touch the wood as it spins. I had a different string tool previously that actually touched the wood because it covered more of the peg. I always had to be careful to not “over insert†it over the tuners. The Martin tool is idiot proof and fits perfectly with my HD-28.The bearing design is smooth and the small axis offset between the head and the handle make turning it effortless and less clunky than some other brands. Highly recommend it.

Très bon produit !Tout est lisse, arrondi.L'extrémité, qui s'emboîte sur les clés (mécanique), est plus douce, duveteuse, afin de ne pas abîmer le bois, le vernis de la tête de la guitare.C'est bien pensé.
