I was going to purchase an art drawing table but after searching for one, I came across this drawing sketch board. After reading about it and the reviews, I decided this would be the better option. I am so glad I got this board. It has a good number of angle options. I have mine set at the lowest angle which is perfect for me. The surface is quite large & smooth & will accommodate small to large drawing pads. I have the board on a 48 inch by 20 inch utility table which has the board with room on either side for a lamp, drawing tools, pencil sharpener & book stand (to hold picture of object I'm drawing). I don't have to worry about anything sliding off which would happen with a drawing table. I am extremely pleased with this board and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart option to a drawing table.

I’ve been drawing since I was a kid and I cannot believe I only just learned about this item. I’d be working on a larger piece and I’d be uncomfortably standing and hovering over my desk. This is quite nice, very sturdy. Adjustable angle makes drawing much more comfortable. I am not a huge fan of the clips. It dents the paper a little. I feel like the clips could be more flat and cushioned. Was packaged quite nicely so I did not have any issue with damage right out of the box.

I read reviews stating that these drawing boards are packaged terribly and many people received damaged items but some didn't. Being that these drawing boards are the only design I like, I took a gamble and hoped that mine would not come damaged. Suffice to say, it did. The packaging is beyond terrible. The drawing board is placed inside a plastic bag, covered with paper and put into a box. Mine had a chipped corner and a broken stand bracket that holds metal stick that keeps the board at an angle. The center of the board itself was not cracked so I could still used it. The broken piece that holds the metal stick in place is the only thing that bothers me so we’ll see how long that lasts.Definitely not a product that’s worth 70 dollars, let alone a list price of 100. More like 40 dollars tops. If you’re going to charge 70+, the plastic pieces behind the board should be hard to break and more care needs to be put into packaging. Some styrofoam on the corners to keep it from chipping seems obvious but I guess not. I could return it but it’s just too much of a hassle to do returns on large items.Bad packaging aside, it’s a good design, it’s easy to move around as it doesn’t way anything yet it stays in place even when you lean against it. The size is just right. Couldn’t find any other drawing boards with this design. If you chose to buy it, know that there’s a good chance that it will come damaged, so you decide if it’s worth shelling out the 70 dollars.

My husband has taken up drawing but being older - his neck was hurting form looking down at the table and he was about to stop. this table has solved the problem and he is back at it. It is sturdy and will allow for a variety paper size. For larger paper we got some doting large clips. Portable in that it can be folded and moved. But it is not light weight (which is good) and you wouldn't be putting it in a suitcase.

Exactly what I've been looking for. I changed our my adjustable glad desk to a wood and metal desk. Since the new desk couldn't adjust I had to search for a adjustable/portable drawing stand. It seems the standard is to have rust lip at the bottom of the board which I really don't need since I use my own wrist rest for sketch books and my wrists. This drawing board what the perfect solution in size and portability. Although it is awkward to move it around and doesn't seem like lists going to take dings to the edges or corners so well. I don't like the idea of wrapping this in and out of a mover blanket everyone I need it or put it away. But I'll need to figure out something in order to make this last since this was a hefty investment. From the reviews I read I got lucky with the shipping, it was packed very well. I was kinda expecting it be damaged but, it wasn't.

For something that is considered portable; it really is not. It is very heavy, it can't fit in the largest of portfolio bags that I own and pretty much defeat the purpose. I plan on seeing about returning it and buying a smaller one, maybe. There are just too many options out there but I am hesitant because you do get what you pay for and if I get something smaller or cheaper, it may not be as durable. "Decisions decisions. I hope someone who has a different and smaller brand could reply and let me know; the ultimate downside to shopping online-not being able to truly do comparison shopping-touch, view and handle the product without paying restocking, shipping or other fees and suffer subsequent consequences. :(

My son started art classes and needed a drawing board. This was not the cheapest one but had clips on top and seemed like it would be fairly strong and hold up. My son said that the kids in the class as well as the teacher thought this board was very nice and the price was similar or less than what most of the other kids paid. So, go ahead and buy this board, you will not be sorry.

This board is LOVELY. The stand on the back is nice and sturdy, has smooth movement, and absolutely no sliding when it's down on a slick surface. It /did/ come with a small amount of damage. There's a small crack a long the right side, but it's no where near the working space I actually use, so honestly I'm not fussed. Don't be fooled though, because I'm pretty sure it took a really nasty dive to manage to achieve just that. Me being the graceful person that I am, I managed to smash in to it with my chair when it was propped up against the shelf, and there wasn't even a scratch on it. Definitely a lot tougher than it looks. There's no ridge at the bottom so if you're working on smaller projects it might be a bit of a pain to keep them clipped at the top while you try to work on them. I'll be investing in a thin piece of wood to attach because 1) I'm short and don't need to be bending over just to reach my drawing space and 2) I like to customize my stuff. :9Love it and will be throwing the link at whoever comes to me asking about drawing boards.
