The paper is beyond divine. It's silky smooth and holds up well with whatever kind of writing instrument you want to use for it: Fountain pen, pencil, color pencil, gel ink, marker--it will glide across the page with rare bleed-through or feathering. The way a pen or pencil glides across the page cuts down on my hand fatigue, considerably. Each page is perforated, and tears out easily and cleanly. The paper is also a soothing off-white color that is very easy on the eyes, and looks incredibly classy and professional. I turned in a quiz written on this paper, and the professor fell in love with it, at first sight. He even teased me about playing hardball to be his teacher's pet this semester. The Mnemosyne definitely makes a good first impression, or a statement, take your pick.I use this notebook for taking notes in my honors precalculus class. I like graph paper for not only being able to draw the graphs that math demands (of course), but also because graph paper in A4 has a lot of real estate for breaking things up into chunks that make sense to me. The title bar lets me note what's being covered when and what page it is. Below, I can write the entirety of a complex problem all the way across the page, then draw a box underneath with step by step instructions, then have another block off to the side with side remarks the professor makes and, of course, another box with the ubiquitous graph. Meanwhile, all of the concept is on one page, laid out where and how it makes sense to me. Even though the semester is new, I'm already seeing benefits with my understanding of the material, simply from an A4 graph paper in landscape mode.Oddly, the back of every page is blank. Some users might find it annoying or even wasteful. For me, the blank page seemed a waste at first, then I realized it has serious potential for additional graphics, notes or study materials that I find or think of after class (inevitable, right?). I'm also finding that blank space calling to me for doodling if a particular class session gets dull. In other words, that blank space can be what you make of it, giving the notebook more potential for developing ideas. At last, the name of the notebook, Imagination, makes sense.

This is a great pad for wire framing and prototype designing. Definitely would order more in the future. Sturdy enough to handle finalizes and fountain pen ink. This is really a solid notepad, it's a bit pricey but its worth it.The seller did a good job as well getting to ma in a timely fashion as well.

these are my favorite notebooks - I'm in grad school and try to keep organized notes - these have helped me keep notes and because of the grid, I can get creative with how I take notes if I want to. The paper is a perfect texture for using with fine-point pens (.28, .38) as well.

Another review for the Maruman Mnemosyne Imagination line. This is a larger one and it is great for drawing out specs or diagrams and such. It's a bit big for just a regular meeting, but it works very well for other things listed previously.

Paper quality is excellent. Agree with other review, it's a bit big for writing notes in a meeting, etc., but the build quality is great and the paper is just the best. Looks sharp too.
