I usually buy suits at Macy’s when I can find them on sale. 2 weeks ago I had to shed $200 at Zara for a suit that I needed urgently. I never found a suit that fits as well as this Marycrafts. I am Italian and I drape and sew as a hobby therefore I am picky with fitting. This suit checks all the important marks for me. I looked carefully at the pictures of the suit posted by the vendor and customers to understand the cut and shape of the suit, the jacket especially, before ordering, and knew it would have complemented my hourglass figure but I think it would complement many other body shapes as well. It is super comfortable, very flattering, fabric is relatively thick and does not look cheap (I got in in black), lining is soft and well cut and well sewn onto the jacket -not like many linings that are hard, badly cut, badly sewn, and get everything out of shape- , good solid stitching, it can be washed in water, it has some stretch. The skirt is a nice knee length. The cut of the jacket and skirt are better than many pret a porter. This suit is everything I always wanted in a suit. Also Amazon recommendation on size was spot on for me. I am 5.5, 144lbs, 34D/DD and I ordered a 10. If fits like a glove and because it does not stretch out like a bodycon outfit, but it is still perfectly fit, it looks elegant and professional too. I could not be happier with this suit!

This outfit fit like a glove. I am 5’1†and weigh about 130lbs. My measurements are 39, 29, 39. I ordered a size 8 in the Gray, and am pretty satisfied. I was worried that because the suit was so reasonably priced that it would be cheap but it’s pretty well made. I’ve worn it a few times now and it’s still holding up. The skirt material is great, very stretchy but loose enough to have a professional look. However, the waist of the skirt is a little snug and has no elastic, so beware of that. Of course since I am very short the hem hit a little low, (mid calf) but since the suit doesn’t come in petite that was to be expected. I was afraid the jacket would be questionable because I am busty and tend to have trouble with tops but the stretchy material allowed ample room and although there is a little tugging in the chest area the buttons are big and sewed on well so I had no problems.

The fabric is light and stretchy. Love the color, lines and the tailoring. Not lined. I'm 5'7" 160 pounds. Size 12 Skirt fit fine. Jacket too small for anyone with breasts! Ordered a 14! Hope that will work!

Well. The review rumors were correct. This is very strangely sized. I'm 5'1" and 114 pounds. I ordered size 0 in gray.The jacket is much too small to button shut but the skirt isn't too tight. I have a small rib cage and small chest ...most outfits are way too loose on me in this area, so something is definitely not right. The jacket is very long through the torso and the shoulders are too wide for my frame. However, the sleeves were very tight, and just barely long enough...and I have short arms.The skirt is long. Really long. It wasn't too tight. I could have made it work by pulling it up in a very high-waisted style. Or I could have hemmed it. But the jacket isn't even close to buttoning shut. I would try a larger size, but I think this is just going to be even longer in the torso and skirt.I love the material this is made from. It's a thick, synthetic stretch material -- heavy, and with a nice matte surface texture. The threads are slightly varied for depth. The construction is also gorgeous... The jacket is lined everywhere but the sleeves. I love the style of the collar, and everything looks sharp and neatly sewn.The buttons on the jacket are fabric covered and a good size -- not huge and clunky, and not so small that they look silly.The skirt has a nice waistband and a clean back zipper. Well-made.I'm super bummed this didn't fit.If I had suggestions (other than the fit), I would recommend adding pockets to the jacket and end the sleeves more elegantly... the machined edge is cheap looking compared to the rest of the construction.UPDATE: I reordered this in size 2. Unfortunately, it was also much too tight, and one of the buttons came off in my hand as I was trying it on. Alas.

I highly recommend this black skirt suit. It doesn't look cheap. It is a perfect fit for me. I ordered a size 12. I am 5'3" and weigh 160 lbs. 34 C

I like the length of the skirt, its slightly below the knee, the fabric is elastic so u can wear it even after adding weight. The fabric is good and thick. The jacket is amazingly beautiful good for winter too because of the thickness. I have a slim body so after carefully reading the reviews i chose to take size 36 and boom it worked cz 34 wd have been very tight.
