My review is based on the actual life of the product. For the price I should have known it wouldn’t last long. I bought two and both failed at 3 months. 3 months. Another reviewer said that setup out of the box is simple, and it is. It takes up little space and for my eyesight was easy to read at a reasonable distance away. However, I’m now back shopping for another and I’m disappointed. Had it not failed so quickly I would have been delighted with this product.

I was looking for a reliable air quality monitor for my office space, and this monitor seemed to have the features I needed. Setup was quick, and the display is large and easy to read. It accurately measures CO2, humidity, and temperature. The readings seem consistent, though, and it’s been reassuring to keep an eye on formaldehyde and VOC levels as well. The battery life is great, overall a decent product if you want to monitor indoor air quality.

While this product worked great for a month, the LCD screen failed 6 days out of the return period. I could not find contact info on the amazon or sellers page to request a replacement. Due to the short life of this product I would not recommend it and would suggest spending a bit more for a higher quality monitor.

The unit I received never gave any reading that was believable, for TVOC or HCHO which is why I purchased the device. Only thing on this unit that sort of worked was the date and clock. Even the temp was off by 14 degrees F compered to standards I compared it to, that were accurate. Not something to purchase if you are concerned about the air you breathe.

I'm new to air quality meters, and I found this one to be tricky. I naively thought I would be able to unpack it, charge it, and get good results easily, but placement and airflow are very important.I thought I would be able to test it in my car. I thought I would be able to turn on the recirculate feature, and then see the CO2 and other indicators increase. But to my surprise, the CO2 decreased while the car was recirculating. I think that because it was in the center console, and not getting good airflow (the vents weren't blocked), I can't trust the readings. I was skeptical of the temperature / humidity readings, too.However, once I moved the sensor into the center of a large room with good airflow, I started getting reasonable results. I think most of my concerns comes down to user error and naive optimism. However, I don't have other sensors available to confirm the CO2/TVOC readings are real.The LCD screen is really sensitive. When taking off the factory-plastic seal, the display discolors for a few seconds. As long as you don't touch the screen, it looks fine. This may not be durable enough for children.

Accurate reading of air quality. I use this to track air quality in airplanes. You'll find that the CO2 level rises as the plane fills and takes off. How high it goes depends on how good the ventilation is.
