Massive PREMIUM High Strenght Panhard Bar / Rod Mounting Hardware Kit GM F-Body Camaro Firebird V6 V8 1982 - 2002 massive MAHW'16706 Massive’s NEW hardware replace the now discontinued GM panhard bolts on your F Body. No, you cannot just run to the hardware store to replace your originals, these bolts use a "shoulder" design, helping to locate the bar properly. Regular bolts would either allow the bar to move (too small), or require you to DRILL out (too large) parts of your frame to fit them. We went with high grade, extra strength steel and plated them zinc and yellow dichromate for max rust resistance. We've include upgraded nylock nuts and discreet washers so this critical joint can't come loose. Great for your restoration, general repair, LS swap, race car, stock, adjustable panhard or any other type of install.

GM quit making these bolts years ago. I had 1 of mine that was rusted and just chewed up from being taken apart and put back together to many times. These seem like they are really nice quality and just pop right in, no tweaking required.

I purchased these a few months back for a suspension overhaul I was doing on my 1999 firebird Trans Am due to the fact those original bolts are discontinued by GM. I was finally getting everything done and was starting to torque down all my suspension bolts in the rear. I torqued the driver's side panhard bolt no problem but when I went to torque the passenger side it got stiff and then just continued to turn and would not tighten down. The threads had stripped out of the bolt! I had to use a cutting wheel to get it off and I also had to order 2 more for a total of $40 for 4 bolts! Not too happy......

Couldn't wait four more days for a replacement so I had to spend an additional $4.00 on grade 8.8 locking nuts
