I did buy these to lock the doors of my metal building at my farm. However, they barely worked because they are quite small. However, the locks are good. Not happy they only come with two keys though. I did order a set of locks from Amazon that came with two keys per lock and were longer shanked that work much better for my application. But this review is on these locks, and they do work as advertised and are nice, but they are on the small side.

Purchased these Master Lock 131Q Covered Aluminum Padlock with Key, Black, 4 count (Pack of 1) to close a gate. They end up being to small of a lock and not big enough to secure a large gate. I found other uses for them around the house and the garage. They were made well and sturdy. Easy to lock and use. It was a good buy for value.

Welp I thought these would be smaller but they are actually pretty big. These are your best general purpose lock for small sheds and such. While they are pretty solid I find that they are easy to pick because the use a rather old tumbler mechanism. They are only really great for keeping your sheds and such safe from general people. People WILL be able to pick these easily. I would not use these to guard high end valuables. The locks open easily and come with 2 keys. It's a good pack for the price.

It isn't really weatherproof but it is pretty hardy. Ignoring the low security of the master lock system, it's a decent purchase just as a minor deterrent.
