Very strong and durable. Unfortunately, and by no fault of the manufacturer, these did not fit on the hasp of my trailer because the hasp is wavy and not flat. I would buy these if I had a use. They are heavy and look bullet proof.

These are so great compared to the knockoff brands. Sure, cost more, but worth it! The feel is of precision manufacturing, lock slides open and closed very smoothly. Key slot is more protectively recessed. Keys go in and turn very smoothly. It's heavier. I have saved $ with some others, which have done the job, but rusted and became hard to unlock, and they never did glide as smoothly, even when new. I don't have one here to snap a photo (cuz I immediately put them in use, replaced the other ones), but they have a little piece on the edge of the locking mechanism that helpala it slide in and out more smoothly not just metal against metal, but sort of a rounded bearing or something. Seems like more attention was paid to on design of these than the cheaper imitations.If on a tight budget, the other brands of hidden-shaft hockey puck locks, like this one, are definitely a big step up in security from exposed shaft ones, because they eliminate vulnerability to bolt-cutters. But, if you can afford to go with Master brand, I'd say do it, to have a better quality lock.

Bought this set in 2020 for a 33 ft trailer I was using to transfer things to the island of PR. Worked very well and easily on the trailer doors… I sold the trailer and kept the locks… still like new and now are used on tool boxes (large)… outside in the weather… salt from the ocean etc… All 3 of the locks are still working great… a drop of oil wd40 or silicone and that is all… awesome locks

These are the best trailer door locks...Ever!Received 3 locks, as ordered, all keyed alike. The cylinders are smooth & easy, and if installed with the opening down they don't collect rain water and freezing locked is not a concern. This would have been 5 stars all the way, except one set of keys was bent beyond repair. Hopefully I can get copies made locally.The encased bolt makes cutting these off virtually impossible. The previous experience I had with one when the keys were lost required drilling the cylinder and then blowing compressed air in to clean out the shavings. It took me about 5 minutes, but I was being careful not to damage the trailer door. If a their really wanted to just break in I'm guessing it could be done in under 2 minutes... But that's a far cry better than the 2 seconds to cut through a pad lock or one of those storage facility locks. All in all, quite secure, works well, and looks professional.
