I got these to lock up my fishing rods and reels when mounted on my Jeep bumper. It worked great!! I can go into a store and not worry about my fishing equipment. I looped it though the reel , the bottom eyelet and the mount securing everything. Note, I did have to hook two together on a larger rod, so get the lock longer than you think you need.

All good but every lock has a different frign key.... THAT SUCKS to have to keep up with 5 different keys. I assumed that they would be keyed the same since I was getting 5 at the same time.

Easy to use. Very sturdy construction. Only downside side is everyone is keyed different.
