I like the lock cables, they are built tough, the function is good and the ease to use them is good! I also like the size of them, not to big so you can handle the easy and they are long enough the secure about what ever you need too!!

I use these to lock up my propane cover to my trailer chassis because you’d be surprised what thieves will walk off with these days. They lock nicely and they’re built well with a good sturdiness. Great product that you can’t find in stores and nice and light for the trailer tongue.

I needed a small cable lock to keep the bin that held our archery net at school to keep from getting filled up with trash. Works great!

I have had a number of different locking cables for different purposes. One of the downsides of the thicker and heavier cables is that they become cumbersome and not really suitable for some applications. These smaller diameter and lighter cable locks are a great choice if they need to be "threaded" through and around things. I am currently using mine for locking my propane tanks and RV battery. Granted, a smaller cable can be easier to cut if someone really wants to gain access, it does provide a level of resistance and deterrent to would be thieves.

I do alot of Cat Rescue and TNR, and I often use trail cams if I need to know the schedule of the colony. I needed a way to secure my cameras to the tree, to make them difficult to steal. This cable lock is just one technique I use to ensure the safety of my cameras. It fits thru the camera casing perfectly, while still allowing for adjustments. I love that there are 4 keys included with the 2 locks. Master Lock makes great products, and when talking security of my valuables, I trust Master Lock.

I bought two of these to lock skis when they are in the racks outside a lodge. My previous cable lock was a coiled design that was a pain in the butt to work through my bindings. It was a little thicker and wanted to curl up while I was threading it through my equipment. So, I looked for a cable that wasn't coiled and a little smaller in diameter. I've used these locks once so far and they are a huge improvement. I also looked at the mini retractable locks made for skis but they use a really thin cable inside a plastic housing and they are only 3' long. In contrast, this Python lock is 6' long with a 50% thicker cable and a more substantial lock.I've seen some reviews claiming that the locks didn't work at all and that the cable could easily be pulled out of the lock whether the key was turned or not. I nearly cracked up laughing once I played with the lock. The locking mechanism is directional meaning you need to insert the cable into the locking clamp in a specific direction. Insert it from the wrong direction and sure enough the cable will pull out with little force. This shouldn't be a problem for anyone even if you're not able to read (i.e. small kids) as there is a big arrow on one side of the lock clearly indicating where to insert the cable. I can easily surmise why some geniuses thought the locks didn't hold the cable. They ignored the arrow and inserted the cable backwards. And then they didn't have the brains or curiosity to try the only other option open to them, insert the damned cable from the other direction dummy! So why does the cable slide out if inserted backwards. Well the lock is made so that it can be tightened even with the key removed. When inserted properly, you can pull on the end of the cable and it will keep tightening but it will not allow you to loosen it without the key. Makes sense, right? But when you've got the cable inserted backwards, that same pulling motion that would ordinarily tighten the cable simply allows you to pull it through the locking clamp until it comes out of the lock because the lock's design assumes that you'd be pulling the cable in that direction to tighten it and it's designed to let the cable slip in that direction. It's hard to believe people are dumb enough to screw this up but the evidence is in the reviews.

Fits fine (I have Campark) . Also thin enough that it will go through the keyhole lock for the trail camera door. Sturdy and well made
