I really like this kit. Due to the position of the keyhole, it's a little tricky to lock/unlock, so it's nice to have a really smooth key action. I used some powder graphite and it helped a lot.I've tried four times to get a copy key made and only one has worked, and just barely (still kind of snags). So if you need to have multiple keys for multiple users, might want to reconsider. Unless I just had bad luck.

Shed lockI picked it for added and stronger security for my outside shed. I reinforced the inside with steel plates so the carriage bolts can't be pried out through the wood with a pry bar.My only complaint is it's hard to remove the key after it's locked into place, I have found the key tumbler has to be in a perfect touchy vertical position to remove the key.

After several of my neighbors were victimized by a local thief I decided to install this lock system on my tool shed doors in hopes of not becoming his next victim. I figured he lived close by bc the first time I went out of town he tried to break into the shed and didn’t get past this lock! I have him on camera and he tried like heck to open the doors but the lock held. So worth every dime spent on purchasing this lock system!

I replaced the flimsy padlock I had on my cedar shed with this lock and I’m super happy with it. People complain here that it doesn’t include hardware but you never know how long the bolts should be depending on application so just go to Home Depot and find the correct bolts add nuts. It was easy and just costed a few dollars. This lock is absolutely bombproof it was easy to install and somebody would need a chainsaw to get into my shed because there’s no way they can get through this lock. Definitely recommended.

I installed these on our 2 sheds at our cabin. I reinforced the wood where the hasps mount and then installed with carriage bolts…..superb lock and the locking centrepiece is surrounded by hasp except where the key inserts.Very good security lock
