I got this for two different storage units. I really like that they use the same key. No lock can stop a determined thief but these do seem much better quality than the cheap ones the Storage office sells.

Super sturdy, easy to open and close. We had a house fire and used these to lock up several different areas of the house after our exterior doors and garage were broken. Heavy duty, never saw any rust or corrosion after over 6m of daily use. Very functional and great value!

We bought these specifically with POD containers in mind. The packaging is a little overkill but once you get the locks out you're good to go. It was very nice having one set of keys that worked for both locks. One key unlocked both Pods which made things easier on us during the moving process.They felt very secure and sturdy. They take a little effort to turn sometimes but mostly open/close with no issue. Ours had a small sharp area on an edge that appeared to be from grinding during manufacturing process. I'm assuming they were trying to smooth out rough areas but it turned this one edge on ours into a cut hazard. It was easily avoidable if you just held it by the rubber.We also tried this exact lock on a 10 ft Uhaul truck and it DID NOT work.

Great locks with one exception. The rubber cover is incredibly thin and one lock’s rubber cover tore in half removing it from the packaging. I am skeptical that part of the lock will stand up to regular use. The rest of the lock is great!

I used this lock to secure the door of an enclosed rental trailer. It did the job and made it from Texas to Alaska with minimal wear. I like that the construction did not leave much room for potential thieves to maneuver the lock around for a place to saw or cut it off. It seems well thought-out and practical. It is heavy, but for use on storage buildings and such it should work very well.

This was bought to use at the storage unit and it does exactly that. Saved me a lot of money over their expensive locks. When we were moving in we were talking to someone who asked about it told them to buy here and they did while we were talking to them.

Great price for this style of lock. Great for storage units. The tumbler was a little stiff when I first got it, so I just sprayed a bit of lube into it and worked it in with the key. After that it was flawless. Much better priced than local department stores (Model number is different vs in store models but it's the same lock).
