How To Properly Apply Puzzle Glue
- Coat both sides for added strength.
- For Glow In The Dark puzzles, apply glue to back side of puzzle.

This glue was easy to apply with the applicator, no streaks. It dried clear and shiny. Glued both sides as suggested. One bottle covered a 19 x 26 inch puzzle we wanted to use as wall art.

The applicator makes it so easy to spread the glue. The glue dries very fast and holds well!! The applicator, bottle edges, and table clean off quickly with water! A suggestion- get non-stick aluminum foil to put under the puzzle that you're gluing. The glue wipes right off after it dries and you can re-use the foil as long as you keep it flat and wrinkle-free. So far I've done 7 puzzles ranging 50 to 300 pieces and I still have just under half a bottle! Don't be afraid to scrape up excess glue and put it back in the bottle. Also, don't push too hard with the applicator. You want to create a thin layer on the puzzle and you DON'T want to accidentally lift up the top (image) layer of the puzzle pieces. Be light and gentle. I've noticed that the glue actually makes regular puzzle colors brighter and glossy. They really do look better after applying the glue! Only glue the back of lenticular (3D), glow in the dark, or "magic" puzzles, as the glue can ruin these special effects. I've accidentally gotten glue on lenticular puzzles and I've just wiped the glue right off with a paper towel and there hasn't been any lasting damage.

I applied the glue to both sides and let it dry overnight. I applied more than needed. It worked out fine with a little help with the squeegee. I am very pleased with this glue. The glue drys very nice no streaking or yellowing. It gave a little shine to the puzzle.

This is a pretty good glue to use on completed puzzles. I bought it to cover a 500 piece puzzle. I applied one layer to the front and one layer to the back of the puzzle and half of the glue was gone. This glue does not come with a brush but rather a plastic comb. You have to pour the glue out onto the puzzle and use the plastic comb to spread the glue, which can get a bit messy.One problem that I ran into was that this glue was completely clear. Because of this, it was hard for me to tell which parts of the puzzle were and weren't covered. This was a problem on the picture side of the puzzle. One the back it was easy because the paper got wet and got darker. Since I poured out too much glue, I had to use the plastic comb to scoop up the excess glue and put it back in the container. I recently purchase a different type of glue from Walmart for only $2.50, which comes with a brush and is at first white, then after it hardens becomes clear. Ill give that one a shot.

So a lot of people complained that this product came with a cardboard spreader that doesn't work well. The cardboard spreader actually does a great job, it allows you to pour the glue on the puzzle and spread it in great sweeps- making the process faster. This is a great glue and works perfectly to glue your puzzle. One bottle pretty much works for one puzzle. I put two layers on top and one on bottom and I only have a small amount of glue left. A piece of advice- the directions say it needs only an hour to dry and after about an hour or so it is relatively dry but if you flip it over to do the back it is still sticky enough to stick to the surface of whatever you are laying the puzzle on. Unfortunately my impatience and eagerness to be done caused me to ruin the puzzle as it stuck to the surface and ended up peeling off some of the picture. I will have to redo the puzzle and reglue it :( I would suggest letting it dry for 2 hours or so before flipping it. Also, it leaves no residue so the picture is unaffected by the glue- it actually makes a nice glossy shine.

It's an interesting type of glue, very thick which is good for getting into the cracks of the puzzle. The instructions say one coat in the front and one in the back, but I would say a third coat is probably needed.

El producto funciona. SUn botecito de estos te dura para unos 2 rompecabezas de 1000 pzas con una cantidad moderada de pegamento pero funcional, lo hemos podido mover sin que se desarme pero a final de cuentas decidimos enmarcarlo. Si tu intencion no es la de enmarcarla yo recomendaria que le des una buena pasada de pegamento por los dos lados aunque posiblemente se te acabaria el pegamento. Agarra un bonito brillo al final y no daña las piezas.
