I purchased this Matchbox set for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. The cars are good quality metal die cast cars. They are less expensive when purchased as a set and are great fun for any child who loves vehicles!

Our little ones loves playing with these cars. They keep him busy for long stretches of time. The car variety is fun. In our 20 pack we have cars, trucks, emergency vehicles, ice cream trucks, and city sweepers.The cars are made well and sturdy enough to hold up to wear and tear from a two-year-old.

I had seen the box people had gotten in previous reviews/videos (the one with the Silver VW Golf on the cover) and decided that I really liked it for the discounted $15 USD that it was on sale for, but it turns out that one has been phased out and replaced with a newer version (Blue McLaren 720S on the cover).I'd say the mix of cars is even better quality than the previous pack (only 3 non-licensed among the 20!), however if you're like me who owns some singles and 5-Packs released earlier in 2024, this specific pack has a number of duplicates from those. I'd have personally rather gotten the older pack(s) or the ability to pick out and buy 1 set of each, but still it's a good value for anything under say $18 USD (MSRP of 20 individually carded ones would be $23.60, and similar for 5-packs).It shipped sealed and mint condition, inside of a sealed and very hefty cardboard warehouse box from Mattel.

I modify these cars to be played with the tabletop game Gaslands Refueled. I love that the pack you get is randomized. You don't know what you're going to get until they arrive and it gives it the sort of feel that you've got to work with what vehicles you've found out in the wasteland of the ruined Earth to create your gang war machines.If you're a Gaslands player I'd recommend grabbing these cars packs off Amazon for that randomized, you get what you've found feel, of the Gaslands world.

Good variety, quality has always been good with matchbox. I started getting nothing but duplicates with the hot wheels five packs so I decided to branch out with these. So far so good, kid loved them. Happy!

You can never go wrong choosing these as a gift for a little boy. My grandaughters enjoy playing with them as well. These are great quality well made cars and you get a really nice selection of them.
