The gasket is necessary in running the autoclave we have. No gasket - no running autoclave. It arrived on time and in good packaging.

Product seemed dry and stiff and more like plastic than rubber, but it is the first replacement I have purchased so had nothing to compare it to (our current gasket lasted over 2 years). It was difficult to stretch over the door as it had very little give. It lasted 22 cycles (installed 2/3/19, broke 2/22/19). Will not buy again!
