Max and Neo Dog Gear is named after my dog Neo and my brother's dog Max. Both dogs lived happy lives in Arizona. When Neo passed away, I began fostering rescue dogs. It became apparent to me that running dog rescues required alot of resources in both time and money. Max and Neo Dog Gear was started to help dog rescues with their never ending need for dog supplies.
We are proud to be able to offer this program which will provide a constant supply of dog collars, harnesses and leashes to dog rescues. While a simple leash, harness or collar may not seem like much, each donated leash and collar allows dog rescues to reserve its funds for other much needed services such as medical bills, spaying, neutering, and dog food.
OUR PASSPORT HARNESS™
Our PASSPORT dog harness is made from 2mm high quality reflective nylon. This nylon is thick and tough. The inner portions of the harness are padded with soft neoprene making comfortable for your dog.
The harness has 2 adjustment points for the chest girth and chest width. Most other harnesses have a fixed chest width making them fit awkwardly. The harness also has a front D-ring making it a no-pull harness also.

I love this. It’s very well made with a simple comfortable design. It fits her really nicely and lies flat with no uncomfortable parts to rub or dig into her. It’s also really easy to put on and adjust. The handle on her shoulders is perfect for when an extra firm grip is needed. I like that the leash attaches to the moveable ring making it really comfortable for both of us while walking. I got it along with the three handle leash and it works perfectly for my very strong and still growing Great Pyrenees type dog. We got xl (she’s Big!) but it has space to be still adjusted larger as needed. Plus they donate to a rescue for every one you buy so that’s even cooler.

I love Max and Neo harnesses, leashes, and collars. I buy them for all three of my dogs. I have a great dane, golden retriever, and a belgian malinois. I first decided to buy them because whatever you buy, they donate the same to a local shelter.Their products are beautiful, vivid colors, fit true to their size chart, and are easy to put on and adjust. The collars have a lock on the click together buckle. They are definitely high quality. All of my dogs still have theirs from when they reached their adult size. The D rings and reflective stitching are extremely durable. My dane is still a rambunctious puppy and almost 100 lbs. She broke the D ring on the coat I bought her the 2nd time she wore it (different brand). The Max and Neo has held up with no issues. I never have to worry about my dogs getting loose.

I have always been a big fan of Max and Neo dog products. They're well made, affordably priced, and have been comfortable for both the human and the dog.I bought this harness to replace an easy walk harness that never quite fit my dog right (35 pounds with a big barrel chest). Once I made the adjustments, it fit him more comfortably than the easy walk and my dog didn't seem to notice a difference.The reason for 4 stars is the buckle. The buckle is made of cheap, thin plastic (compared to the buckles on other harnesses and dog accessories) which is concerning to me. If that buckle breaks, not only is the whole harness broken, the dog can run off if it happens during a walk and you don't catch it. I guess time will tell if this holds up. I would be a lot more concerned with this flaw if my dog was a heavy puller. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring theme with Max and Neo products. They're all well made, but they cheap out on the hardware pieces.

There is nothing not to like about this harness it has both the front and back loops to be able to attach your leash to walk your dog. They add extra padding to area that might rub and/or be near your dog's fur/skin which is perfect as you always want to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy. My dog loves the harness and has been a great training tool with the front and back loop hooks. I primarily utilize the back loop leash connector so when my dog pulls the harness does a great group of correcting my dog when she attempts to pull to hard and makes sure that she is secure and won't be able to break away. I also like the design of the overall harness that there it goes over your dog's head and chest and then you strap your dog into it with a single connection point under their belly which makes putting on and taking the harness off extremely easy and you can still leave your leash attached to it also as one whole piece. The adjustment functionality of the harness is perfect, you can leave it a little lose depending on your dog's need and still feel good know that your dog is securely connected with the harness and they will not be able to break away and/or back out of it if they attempt to run or something. Lastly, the fact that the company donates their products every time an item is bought to rescues and other places was a big selling point for me and also it being American made. Top quality and comfort for my dog.I ordered the large size and my dog is about ~60lb and an Australian/Dutch Shepard so there was plenty of room to adjust thee harness as she is almost 1 years old and in case she grows ever slightly bigger.

First, let me start off by saying that I have bought a collar and leash by Max and Neo in the past and my dog and I absolutely love them. The leash is the most comfortable leash I’ve ever held. In fact, I get asked all the time about the leash. As for my 2 dogs, one of my Aussies will only tolerate Max and Neo collars as she has chewed up at least 7 different collars she’s had in the past. She loves it so much that she gets snarly and upset whenever I have to take it off of her.So when I got my new puppy, I had very high expectations for buying this harness. When my new Aussie puppy was 9 weeks old, I bought this harness in a small and it fit perfectly (with only a small amount of room for growth) and most importantly, my puppy loves it. It’s incredibly durable but is also very comfortable (I’m assuming since he falls asleep wearing it all the time, is never fussy when he wears it, and acts like it’s not even on). It has padding on the front wear the harness lies on the chest. It provides excellent support for dogs (especially rambunctious puppies) without hurting them. I especially love the handle at the top of the harness that lets you grab your dog in an instant if you need to without injuring your dog. Also, for added safety, it has reflector stitching, which lets people see him if it’s dark out.My puppy is now 8 months old and now wears a size medium which fits great and allows for more plenty of room to grow.Pros:- lightweight but sturdy- very comfortable on my puppy- padding on the chest giving you dog or puppy more comfort and protection- easily adjustable to desired fit- provides loophole at the top to easily grab/pick up your dog without causing pain or injury- has reflective stitching so my puppy can be seen at night-quality far outweighs the price- Max and Neo donate the exact items you buy to a shelterCons:- I honestly don’t have one.

The proportions on this harness was not working well for our dog. She's a growing puppy and even towards the end when we had expanded the belly strap the most we could the chest strap was too big. She is narrow built (standard poodle) and unfortunately the fit was awkward for her from the moment we got it until she grew too big to wear it. The way this is designed with a bulky part over the chest is also a bit limiting in her natural movement we found.
