Ok, well, the company name is corny, but at least it's not a bunch of random consonants banged together on a keyboard. I have a rare Gibson Les Paul Studio Wine Red with Gold hardware whose black switch tip broke off 10 years ago. I should have replaced it a long time ago, but I didn't. I saw this and I thought that it looked "gold" enough to match the rest of the hardware. The tip screwed on perfectly and it's a strong metal piece that will never break. It's actually cold to the touch most of the time, but I actually like that. It gives it an expensive feel that matches its expensive look. But the best part is that it's not expensive, and you get two! I put the other one on my Les Paul Standard Appetite edition, and it's actually better looking than the cream tip that it came with. I'm very happy so THREECHEER for MAXCHEER.

These do not fit the switchcraft switches used is current Gibson USA production. After I realized they did not fit I took them to a local music store and found they were too small for any Gibson or Epiphone guitar. I tried over 20 instruments and was unable to find a fit.

I'm giving them only 3 stars because they were too small to screw into the 4mm toggle switch shaft on my guitar, where other M4 switch tips do screw on. Maybe they're M3.5? I don't have a way of testing this, I'm afraid. The title says it's 4M and fits Epiphone Les Paul guitars; maybe modern Epiphone Les Pauls use this size? I have a very old Epi LP and the shaft is actually smaller than what this tip screws onto. To be clear, I did not buy these tips for my Epi LP, but for another guitar with a 4mm switch shaft.Apart from the size discrepancy, the tips are very well made from, I assume, brass. They are polished and shiny, though they're not a very bright metallic hue, like polished aluminium or chrome would be. Compared to the polished aluminium parts on the guitar they look a bit yellow. But I would've definitely kept them and given them 5 stars if they'd fit my guitar as advertised.

Switch top matches all the gold trim now. For an American Switchcraft 8-32.Also worked on my American Gibson Switchcraft 8-32 Les Pauls. Won’t work on Foreign Les Pauls. Use a 3.5 mm switch tip.Since this is metal to metal. Try a very small amount of blue lock tight if the tip continuously loosens.

Hit & Miss fitting my guitars. Only works with North American switch knob. Off-Shore is a no go. Comes (in my case) with a leather pick holder.... Nifty. A simple upgrade to your axe. If you want a simple upgrade, buy... but might not fit....

The chrome looks way better than the black one I hAd on my 78 BCRICH BASS. ITS LIKE ADDING CHROMEtoo my. H.d. lol.
