What a great sound, clean noise pickup. I really like the treble tone and the power from this pickup. Compared to an existing humbucker of which I replaced, I do not have to crank up as much the volume knob to get the sound. The documentation that comes with helps me to sort out the 5 lead wires into two to connect to an existing pots. I am happy with the purchase.

Installed this to replace the stock pickup in a cheap Jackson, that pickup wasn't terrible dont get me wrong. At first I was not impressed with this one, but I've been doing this a while so I adjusted the pickup height, changed a couple of amp settings and realized for this price this pickup is great! It takes better to gain than the original, bit more harmonics, very well balanced sound as well. I play primarily in standard but with this I drop half a step and it hit all the right marks for metal with just a tad of boost added.One thing I would advise, get some new pots if you have a cheap guitar, I'm sure this would sound even better with a new pot, instead of the nightmare I had to deal with using a walmart soldering iron and the stock pots in here.

Very full-bodied sound with detailed note clarity. Sounds excellent on clean and really screams with overdrive/distortion. Very simple install- has nice long lead wires which made splitting it simple without the need to use “jumper “ wires on the red/white wires in order to lengthen the wires. Definitely is wax-potted. Awesome humbucker. Will get another one for another build I’m working on.

Brilliant sound. The full humbucker roars like a lion that's ready to go! Inparticular making the treble strings sound much thicker. The single coil sound ( red n white wire) gives a sharper edged sound, just like Jack whites ball n biscuit. Used a push pull pot to change between the 2. Tbh I can't image how a named pickup for up to 10x the price could sound any better!
