The trim out fits great... However, the plug and nut are a different size than what's on the Fender...

The glossy black plating was of higher quality than I expected it to be. I mounted this in a custom bass build, so I cannot say if this would be a direct-fit replacement for a Strat or not. But it served my needs perfectly fine.

You may be like me and be specifically looking for a GLOSS black input plate and are finding that some images make the plate look glossy but when you get it, it is flat finish...This plate actually delivers! It is gloss black (if not slightly chrome leaning)!I included pictures from different angles so you can see this one is the real deal!

Did not look like the photo.Nut was silver,not black and the finish was very dull.Also had a small mark on it.

These wouldn't sit flush on my squire, just a bit too big. Fortunately, I was carving it anyway, so I just made the cavity bigger. Finish was kinda dull. I think the only reason I chose this one was because it had a black nut.
