This disc fixed my 30+yr old JVC CD player issue. CD player started getting stuck/repeating/not advancing on multiple CDs so I knew it was a player issue and not the CDs.Bought this disc and popped it in the player. Fixed the player issues immediately!The audio instructions are terrible so just do this:- Put the CD in the player (brush side down of course).- IGNORE the audio instructions and let the disc play. It should play track 1 for about 1:03, then it will play track 2 which will play/clean (in silence) for about 9:14 then it stops. Once track 2 appears to have stopped playing for a while (around 9:14), select track 3 (which stops the cleaning process). Track 3 does not play and the disc will go back to track 1. Cleaning is now complete and you can eject the disc and try playing your own CDs.WELL WORTH the low price!

My old TASCAM Commercial CD player has worked well over the years. Recently it has stopped at different points during play. I was about to tear into it and then thought maybe the lens is dirty so ordered this disc cleaner. I ran it through 2 cycles once the disc error was finally resolved and no more problems. I encountered a problem that I can't explain. When I first tried it on the player it would not work and gave me a "Disc Error". I tried it on another disc player and it worked fine then tried it again on the TASCAM and it worked great and no more stopping during play. The instruction with the disc is not correct as it goes immediately to track 1 in English then when instructed to go to track 3, the process is finished. An additional unexpected benefit is the audio output is several dB higher to my amp so I had to turn the volume down on the amp. Well worth the price to correct a problem.

I don't know if this is best, but it served its purpose at a good price. I had thought that I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars for an aftermarket car stereo to play my books on cd as it might take about 10-15 times inserting the cd before I would shimmy and play without the incessant error message. I read about trying a cd player cleaner and decided it couldn't hurt. The instructions are really bad; one set printed on the label (oddly enough on the inside part of the label, the part against the case) and a different set of instructions as audio instructions on the cd. I'm not sure if I followed either set clearly, but my cds are playing now. I'm not sure if skipping is due to cleaning or just damaged cds; I should be able to ascertain on the next book, BUT, as I said, I'm excited it works without replacing the player!!! I would have purchased locally, but I couldn't find this product.

This item does what a cd lens cleaner should not much else to say.If you have game console the first several will require this to clean as dvd cleaner run on dvd video menus.The same is true of Xbricks they require a dongle to play Dvds so just use this instead.Works fine in audio equipment to of course, not tried in 90s pc drives yet.There is a safety warning on some of these discs I believe it is a cya thing I don't see any of them unless they fall apart in the drive damaging anything.

I only have a CD boombox and a computer optical drive. This disc may have worked on the computer CD drive, but I'm not even sure. The boombox gets stuck when skipping to tack 3 and it will never play anything beyond track 1, so I don't know if the cleaning was successful or not. In any case, this thing isn't the most compatible cleaner CD out there and I cannot recommend it.

When using the cleaning disc in one of my vehicles and it seem to scratch the CD player lens. Luckily I did this in an old car I don't really listen to CDs in anymore. I did something funny to my CD player in my house. Two strikes and I threw it away. Wish I remember better details but I wasn't able to make reviews back when I bought this.

My car CD packed up recently - initially it began to crackle, then skip, then refusing to play at all. Occasionally it worked only to fail after 3-4 minutes. I tried two cheap CD cleaners, wet and dry, to little effect and finding anyone locally able to look at it locally was extremely frustrating - the main dealer wanted £165/hr just to investigate it!So I did a bit of internet research and found this disc recommended. It looks different to most cleaners with two different looking brushes. I gave it a try and after one run a disc played almost completely before skipping. After a second clean my player has just played most of a disc with no crackling or skipping. So I am hopeful this little disc has sorted it, and saved me a shedload of cash in the process. Worth a try if you're having problems i'd have thought.

My cd player kept saying no cd, no cd when all five areas were full. I used this once and the sound is great and I have no delays at all. The player turns and recognizes immediately. I only wish I knew the name of the music they have on the cd.
