I've been using Maxell products all the way back to the the 1970s, when I was buying low noise/high output open reel tapes for my stereo tape deck. They were extremely good back then and nothing has changed in the last 40 years. I get successful file transfers onto Maxell disks when other brands are just making coasters for my drinks. I just don't think you can go wrong with their products and it is always my first choice by far.

DVDs burn quick and are pretty good.Can't reuse the spindle case to hold a good sized bagel sandwich because its too short. Supermarket brand bagels may work.Update: Have gone through the entire spindle. No Coasters.

These perform satisfactorily for the need I had. I needed to make a backup set of CDs for my computer's hard drive and I only ran into one CD in the lot that was bad.

Mislabeled as 4 x rated it is actually 16 x rated. No 16 x work in my stand alone burner for which I bought this for. They do work well in my newer computer burners. I can Taiyo Yuden for less that do a better job. I only paid extra to get 4x rated discs which have a different dye. They record on my LiteOn but not with valid data as they will not finalize,on any burner.
