FAST SHIPPING! I received the right product and it works great for my old Sony Camcorder. I recommend to anyone who needs Hi8 tapes but don't have the money to buy those expensive Sony tapes.

Golly, these 8mm cartridges are hard to find nowadays. I still use them for my Sharp camcorder and they work okay.

You can definitely see the difference between film and digital recordings. Nothing like the original on film texture and shadowing.

Bought these for use with a Sony TRV-57 camcorder. This is a standard 8 mm, not HI-8 camera. Some concern these tapes may not work after checking websites and forums. Inside the cassette is a leaflet which states they will record and playback on a regular 8 mm. Worked perfectly. 8 mm regular tapes are expensive to buy so nice to be able to use a cheaper alternative.

I got this tape for my Sony TR-917 Hi8 XR handycam, and it's working just fine, No problems at all, and the camcorder picks it up right away.
