works as intended. turns heat lamp on in my well house when getting below freezing. 32 F. waits till 55 before turning off. but small inconvenience worth preventing pipes from freezing. been using couple years now

They do a very good job of turning on the power when the temperature reaches approximately 38 degrees

Units turn on at 38 F +/- and go off at 50 F +/-. I have them connected to a heater in my well pump house. Well worth the price for the peace of mind.

This is an amazing asset for any farm or barn. We have chickens and it is an amazing way to control several things at one time. Is it efficient? It looks great and it contains my heat level for my coops rush out and get yourself one of these maybe even two.

Love what they do as these protect my Chickens/Ducks with a heater in the coop also controls the heat tape on our homes water supply.

Stopped working after 3 days. Used in my chicken coop. Had I not discarded the packaging; I would return. Similar scenario on reviews, but I took a chance. Do not recommend at all. 0 stars.

I was initially unclear whether this product was working because I wasn’t sure if the light went on when plugged in, or only when the temperature dropped. I thought it had been cold enough to activate but then again, only at night when I couldn’t see it. I reached out to the company and their reply was prompt, courteous and helpful. They answered all my questions and offered full support if the product turned out to be faulty. Once the temperature dropped enough I could see that it worked perfectly.

Bought these to control the on-off cycle on gutter heater cord after one of my heater cords had shorted out because I forgot to unplug it in the spring. These plugs work excellent and the little light lets you know from a distance (at night) if the circuit is on or off.

Good accuracy to prevent ice on roofs and gutters and prevent ice in farm animals drinking waterIt is a bit bulky and does not fit in a water-tight in-use outlet cover.For gutters, It is better to use an extension cable to move it away because the heat of a building can interfere with it.
