A few days per year the temp in my garage gets below freezing which causes the cold water line into my water heater to freeze. Generally this has meant I need to get out a hair dryer to fix this issue. But, now I don’t need to use a hair dryer any more! This product works great, and seems to be well made.

This heat tape is doing the job to keep cattle water flowing. Not does it work well, the instructions for installation were clear and easy to follow that makes the difference.

I installed it in a short time and without too much trouble. It doesn't obstruct the water flow. It's easy to use and install. It's very thick and it seems to be very durable. Not sure if tge crackling sound is bad or just because it's thick wiring. Definitely cheaper than replacing pipes during the frigid winter months.

I had previously purchased Pipe Heating Cable with Thermostat. Item worked great during the winter months. It was time to plug Heat Cable back in to get ready for another winter, noticed on the second morning temperatures dropped below freezing and to my surprise I did not have any water. Emailed customer support at MAXKOSKO stating the issues, and to be honest my disappointment du to the cable only worked for 1 cold season. Promptly was emailed back and did could have tests to pinpoint issue. This is all happening week of Christmas but their support team was on there game and sent some a Heat cable with out thermostat. I was very happy when it showed up 1 gay earlier than supposed to. MAXKOSKO has a great group of employees doing there best to have satisfied customers. It was a pleasure doing business with them and will again soon. Give them a try and I promise you will not be disappointed Thank again

I finally tried this out and it worked just like the description said. Made well too.

Although tested product before install it does not work. Temp today 12 degrees and not working. Placed on pipe in garage and now pipe frozen. Window of return is pass so cannot return.Update-Replacement sent quickly. Great customer service!

Works very well, my only issue is that the part of the coil that doesn’t have the heating device (plug side) should not count towards the length of the actual product because that section reduces the actual length of where you needed heat support, rendering it way shorter. PICT - would have shrunk the gap towards the hose head by at least 16 inches.

Work great, saved me alot lf trouble.There is a thermostats in the wire so, it will start automatic when the temp is close to 4°C.Dont forget to try the wire with ice before install it,You want to be sure its work!!

I bought this to keep the hummingbird feeder from freezing. I attached it to the bottom of the feeder and put a layer of insulation to cover the cable. Unfortunately it made the syrup too hot for the birds to drink. I probably over did it with insulation. But it would work great for keeping pipes from freezing.
